Roll Review Kit

Film your rounds. Review your mistakes. Refine your game.

$59.99

Writing notes after your rolls is valuable. Watching them back is the next level. The Roll Review Kit stands at the edge of the mat and starts recording with one click, so you can see what really happened, not what it felt like.

  • Catch the mistakes you can't feel in the middle of a round
  • Start and stop recording mid-roll with the Bluetooth remote
  • Stands on its own at the edge of the mat, with a built-in LED light for dim gyms
  • Folds down to about 7 inches, small enough for any gym bag
  • Bluetooth remote
  • Folds into your gym bag
  • Built-in LED light
Why film your rolls

Your rolls don't look the way they feel.

Mid-round, you're too busy working to see clearly. On video, the details you missed are obvious, in your game and in theirs.

In your game
  • Your transitions aren't as smooth as they felt.
  • Your shot is slower than you thought.
  • The armbar you landed had too much space to work on a better opponent.
In your partner's game
  • They were off-balance when they mounted you, and you couldn't see it in the moment.
  • Their double leg always starts with the same small tell.
  • The guard you can't pass keeps starting from the same grip.
What's in the kit

Everything you need to film the mats

  • 01

    Extendable tripod

A stainless steel stick on a stable tripod base. Extend it to get the whole round in frame, then fold it back down to about 7 inches.

  • 02

    360° phone mount

Grips iPhone and Android phones and rotates a full 360°, so you can film landscape or portrait and tilt the camera down at the action.

  • 03

    Bluetooth remote

Start and stop recording from across the mat, mid-roll or mid-drill, without walking over to your phone.

  • 04

    LED fill light

Sits above your phone to brighten dim gyms, garage mats and late-night sessions, so the details stay visible on playback.

How it works

Film. Watch. Write.

  1. Before rounds

    Set up

Stand the tripod at the edge of the mat, clip in your phone and frame the area you'll be rolling in.

  2. During rounds

    Film

Click the remote when the round starts and again when it ends. No walking back and forth to your phone.

  3. After training

    Watch

Pick one round and look for one thing: where you lost position, or a chance you missed.

  4. Same day

    Write

Note what you saw in your journal and what you'll try next session. That turns footage into progress.

One round, one thing, one note. A few minutes that make your next session count.

Questions

Good to know

Will it fit my phone?

It fits iPhone and Android phones, including the larger Max models. If you use a thick protective case, take it off for the most secure grip.

Does the remote start video recording?

Yes. Open your phone's camera in video mode and the remote starts and stops recording. It connects over Bluetooth, so there's no app to install.

Is it OK to film at my gym?

Most gyms are fine with filming for personal review, but check with your coach first and ask your training partners before you hit record.

What should I look for when I watch back?

Start with one question per round: where did I lose position, and what happened just before it? Then look at your partner: what did they do right before their best attack? Write the answer in your journal and make it your intention for the next session.

Can I use it for drilling and content too?

Yes. Film a technique while you drill it to check the details, or record clips for social. The remote means you don't need someone else to press record, and the stick works handheld as a selfie stick too.

Capture · Review · Level up

See what your rolls actually look like.

The journal captures what you remember. The camera captures what really happened.
